Finally, point to each picture for the class to say the words in each bubble. 2. Point and say: - Tell the class that they are going to practice asking and answering questions about the importance of learning English. Objectives: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to: - Listen and repeat words, listen and circle - Do the chant “How do you learn English?” - Develop Ss’ reading and listening skills II. Language focus: Pattern: How do you practise ? – I Why do you learn English? Because I want to Vocab: practise, listen, speak, read, write watch English cartoons on TV, read English comic books, talk with my foreign friends III. Teaching aids: Pictures, textbook, projector IV. Procedure: Warm-up: - Do the chant How do you learn English? 4. Read and tick True (T) or False (F) - Tell the class that they are going to read the passage and tick T or F - Get them to read the sentences and guess the answers before looking for the relevant information in the reading passage. - Set a time limit for Ss to do the task independently.
