II. Procedures 1. Listen and tick - Ask pupils to look at the pictures. - Playing the recording all the way through for pupils to listen and tick the pictures. - Play it again for them to check their answers. Procedures Introduction (5’) Greet Ss. Present the short story − Cat and Mouse 3. Tell the class that this is the third of the four episodes in Tiếng Anh 5, Student’s book, Tập 1 & Tập 2. The story is followed by five activities. 1. Read and listen to the story. (7’) • Present the activity. • Play Track 55 for Ss to listen when they are reading the story. LANGUAGES FOCUS: - Sentence Pattners: Excuse me, where’s the ...? It’s ... - Vocabulary: bus stop, post office, theatre, museum, .... III. TEACHING AIDS: 1. Teacher’s: student’s and teacher’s book, pictures, cassette. 2. Students’: books, notebooks, workbooks. IV. PROCEDURE: Warm up: Sing a song - The class listen and sing to Where will you be? Song. 1.
